Community & Business Development Volunteer (Liberia)

About the Role

Young Devs Ltd. is seeking motivated volunteers across Liberia to help us expand our presence, build meaningful relationships within local communities, and identify opportunities where technology can create value.

This opportunity is for individuals who are well connected within their communities and are interested in technology, business development, education, community engagement, or helping organizations access digital solutions.

Volunteers will help Young Devs identify potential clients, schools, businesses, organizations, community initiatives, and other institutions that may benefit from our services. They may also support local outreach, introduce Young Devs to relevant organizations, gather information about technology needs in their communities, and help strengthen awareness of the company.

We are particularly interested in volunteers who can help us reach communities and counties where Young Devs does not yet have a physical presence.

What You Will Do

• Represent Young Devs Ltd. professionally within your community when authorized to do so.
• Identify organizations, schools, businesses, NGOs, and other institutions that may benefit from Young Devs services.
• Identify potential technology, software development, website, digital platform, training, and other relevant business opportunities.
• Introduce potential clients or partners to Young Devs through the appropriate company channels.
• Support community and business outreach activities.
• Help increase awareness of Young Devs and its services within your area.
• Maintain professional communication with organizations and individuals contacted on behalf of Young Devs.
• Provide useful information about technology needs and business opportunities identified within your community.
• Participate in virtual meetings, orientations, and activities when required.
• Provide periodic updates to the assigned Young Devs coordinator.
• Protect confidential company and client information.
• Follow Young Devs policies and instructions when carrying out volunteer activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be based in Liberia or have strong connections within a Liberian community.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Genuine interest in technology, entrepreneurship, community development, or business development.
• Ability to identify potential opportunities and communicate them clearly.
• Professional conduct and good judgment.
• Ability to communicate reliably with the Young Devs team.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, community outreach, education, technology, entrepreneurship, or business development is an advantage but not required.
• Volunteers must not make unauthorized promises, quotations, contractual commitments, or financial arrangements on behalf of Young Devs Ltd.

What We Expect

• We expect volunteers to represent Young Devs Ltd. professionally, communicate respectfully with potential clients and community organizations, and make a genuine effort to identify meaningful opportunities within their communities. Volunteers should provide accurate information, maintain confidentiality, communicate regularly with the Young Devs team, and follow company policies and instructions. Volunteers must understand that they are not authorized to negotiate contracts, set prices, collect payments, make financial commitments, or make promises on behalf of Young Devs unless specifically authorized by the company.

What Young Devs Provides

• Young Devs Ltd. will provide volunteers with an introduction to the company, information about our services, guidance on how to communicate with potential clients and organizations, and support from the appropriate Young Devs team members. Where appropriate, volunteers may receive recognition for their contributions and may be considered for project opportunities, referral arrangements, revenue sharing, stipends, or other approved benefits. Any financial or other benefit will depend on the specific contribution or opportunity and will be subject to prior approval and a separate written agreement where required.
