About This Project

A fully custom-built multi-vendor e-commerce platform serving Rwanda — allowing vendors to list products, manage inventory, and reach customers across the country. Built entirely in-house by Young Devs Ltd, YDShop supports multiple product variants, WhatsApp buying, vendor dashboards, and rider delivery partnerships.

The Challenge

Rwanda's local vendors had no affordable, locally-focused platform to sell products online. Existing global platforms were expensive, complex, and not designed for the Rwandan market — leaving small businesses without a proper digital storefront.

Our Solution

We designed and built YDShop from scratch — a full multi-vendor marketplace with product variant support, category filtering, vendor registration, rider onboarding, WhatsApp direct buying, cart system, multilingual support, and a complete admin panel — tailored specifically for the Rwandan market.

Results & Impact

Live marketplace with active vendors across Nyanza and Kigali. Products listed across Beauty, Electronics, Fashion, and more. Vendors onboarded and selling independently. WhatsApp buying integration drives direct conversions.
